“THE DECADES DELI-SERVING UP YOUR FAVORITES”
The first FAVORITE served-up will be the ANNUAL SOCIAL, February 23rd, 3:30 to 5:30 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1416 20th St. Ames IA. Not only will you have fun, and eat yummy snacks but will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with fellow performers and the show’s director JULIE MINOT. Julie will discuss what ingredients will be needed to put together a “DELI-CIOUS MAIN ENTRE” which will include how to select your individual acts need to MIX with the 2023 theme.
AUDITIONS will be held Saturday, April 1 12:30 to 2:00 (break) & 2:30 to 4:00
AUDITIONS/CALL BACKS Saturday May 6 12:30 to 2:00 (break) & 2:30 to 4:00
Expectations: 1. Performance stage ready as possible 2. Under 3 minutes including stage setup/tear down 3. Bring your own accompanist 4. If you wish a song reserved let the director and/or performance coordinators, Pat Meek and Kitty Fisher know.
Decades of song, dance, comedy and so much more! You can select your favorite from “The Stone Age” to the “Stones” and beyond. Think upbeat, light-hearted, fast-paced and memorable. You know, we certainly don’t want our cake to flatten! !
Dates of Show: Friday night, August 18 and Saturday matinee, August 19
Rehearsals during the week of the show will be repeated to help put the icing on the acts.
The schedule will be as follows:
Monday: First Act run in order of appearance; staging & technical needs
Tuesday: Second Act run in order of appearance; staging & technical needs
Wednesday & Thursday: Full dress rehearsal and run show.
This will allow the stage hands to determine the technical needs and ALL of us to pick up the pace of the show! This rehearsal schedule will be required of all of us.
